The above kitchen is a beautiful kitchen in a timber frame home. A project like this takes a great deal of planning, one small final detail like the installation of the pot filler above the cook top needs to be planned from the very beginning along with many other items. This kitchen features a large center island with seating for four with a large prepping area, farm sink and Corean countertops. A mixed color of cabinets; the cook top cabinet, range hood, and large island are made of knotty alder cabinets, while the remainder of the cabinets including built in refrigerator and double oven cabinets are made of painted maple cabinets with glazing. Everything is tied together with the slate tile backsplash and oil rubbed bronze finish on accessories. This kitchen has all the features you would want including; an appliance cabinet for housing large commercial mixer, pull out shelving in all lower cabinets, soft close drawers and doors, pull out spice rack, pull out garbage can, crown molding, and display cabinets for special occasion dinner ware. The appliances are JENN-AIR with glass surfaces for easy cleaning and a classy look. Double oven for cooking large meals, French door refrigerator with pull-out freezer, five burner induction cook top for energy efficient speedy cooking with a pot filler above for filling pots fast, the microwave is located out of the way on a shelf in the island and the range hood has a powerful five speed blower.
You will not have to worry about having enough light in this kitchen. The lighting alone was well thought out, it includes; above cabinet accent lighting, under cabinet countertop lighting, handmade glass hanging pendent lighting, recessed lighting in ceiling, and lights in the range hood.
The flooring is a solid knotty hickory in natural and stained finish. The knots are actually filled with an epoxy for a smooth surface. Behind the kitchen is a large 8ft x 10ft pantry with floor to ceiling custom made shelving and stand up freezer.
This once dark and cramped kitchen was completely gutted down to the studs. We created a more open space by adding a wider window to allow more light. Part of an interior wall was removed to allow room for the oven/microwave and pantry cabinets, this also opened the room to the dining area. The island with raised seating for 4, electric cook top, and direct vent range hood was added. The cabinets are made of dark wood for a modern look. This kitchen was finished off with Corean countertops.
The natural pine flooring was part of a previous project we did a few years earlier to the entire first floor of this home. We removed carpet and vinyl flooring from on top of this beautiful floor, made repairs to the damaged floor by replacing damaged boards and filling in old register vent holes. Once repairs were made, we had the floor completely sanded down to reveal its natural and aged beauty. The floor was finished with three coats of polyurethane.
“Since 2011 we’ve hired All Seasons Builders to restore and repair original wood flooring, to entirely remodel our kitchen and to build our lakefront deck from scratch. This year we are looking to Michael and his crew to do a more comprehensive remodel of our home in Vermilion. My husband and I have hired and worked with many builders over the years, remodeling four different homes in three states. All Seasons Builders is the only company we have hired for more than one project. Michael Strehle, president, is a pleasure to work with and we are always happy with the result. During early project discussions, Michael is patient, thoughtful, fair and straightforward. Even with lots of back and forth communication he rarely misses a detail in finalizing a contract. He offers up good options for improving a design or lowering cost and he is clear throughout the project about any additional costs we might incur. He pays attention to his work area, keeping it as livable as possible during construction and he gets the job done in a timely manner.
We highly recommend All Seasons Builders (5 stars).”

I bet you would love to prepare a meal for loved ones in this amazing colorful kitchen. This kitchen was part of a large 1st floor remodel caused by flood damage from a bursting pipe due to heat loss. Interior walls were removed to create an open space between the kitchen and living room. These cabinets were custom built/installed by a specialty contractor in collaboration with All Seasons Builders, Inc. to create this kitchen. This beautiful eat in kitchen features two islands with contrasting blue and white solid maple cabinets with soft close flush mount doors and drawers. The outer island has seating for 10, a large preparing area, granite countertops and a commercial pull-down faucet. The inner island is designated for cutting with solid maple butcher block countertop and vegetable sink. Commercial grade stainless steel appliances, marble backsplash, and plenty of lighting finish up this kitchen.
“Working with Mike Strehle and All Seasons Builders was unlike any other construction project we had experienced in the past. Mike and his team of course are excellent craftsmen and their work matched all of our highest expectations. The finished project was, and remains, a joy to behold.
While many builders do beautiful work, very few of them conduct their business with the integrity and professionalism of Mike Strehle. Mike is very organized and conscientious of both his schedule and the client’s time. It is normal for Mike to map out the schedule for the week and tell you specifically what days and even hours he will be at the project, rarely varying from this. This leaves the client with a predictable progression of the project which, in my experience, is almost unheard of in the building trades.
I would and have recommended Mike and his crew without reservation to countless friends and family!”

Some neat features are; desk area at far right, built in microwave, high pull out faucet, built in refrigerator, tall pantry and linen cabinets, pass thru breakfast bar area, and concrete countertops.
“Absolutely fantastic to work with. Mike performed a major home renovation for us and it turned out great. Very patient, organized and always accessible.”
This custom kitchen remodel features clean linen white maple cabinets with a lot of storage, tall upper cabinets extending to a two piece crown mold, center island with seating for three. Built in cooktop/oven combo unit, built in microwave/range hood, built in refrigerator and tall pantry cabinet with pull out shelves. Countertops and backsplash are natural granite. Other amenities are full extension drawers, soft close doors and drawers, under cabinet LED lighting, built in spice rack, rotating laze-susan corner cabinet, plenty of drawers, stone sink, pull-out sprayer faucet, and pull out garbage can/recycle bins. The flooring in this kitchen is LVP (luxury vinyl plank) a product that is becoming very popular. It is a water resistant, very durable, solid vinyl plank that looks like real wood.
“We contracted with Mike (All Season Builders) for an addition to our home. Mike is a patient, professional and conscientious builder. Mike was always ready to answer our questions and discuss our “ideas” for our addition. We increased the size of our great room, added a master suite, remodeled our kitchen, added a deck, and other miscellaneous work. As our project progressed, Mike was always ready to take on additional tasks that came up – adding a complete heat/cool system, new hot water tank, whole house generator and more. Mike has also done impressive work for my parents and sister/brother-in-law showing his consistency in completing high quality projects. We are very happy with our completed project… it is more beautiful than I even anticipated!”
