Basement renovations are a great way to add living space to your house without adding on additions. We will work with you from the predesign stage all the way through final touchups. We offer design service for basements, here’s how it works. We meet with you to discuss what you want to use the space for, like a bathroom, game room, bedrooms, etc. We take a look together and come up with some conceptual design ideas for the space, based on criteria like; location of existing utilities entering the home, heating/cooling equipment, electrical panel, plumbing, ceiling heights, stairs, windows, crawlspaces, sump pumps and much more. With these ideas we can quote you a price and enter into a contract. From that point we will design the space often giving you a few options. Once design is done we apply for permits and begin construction. We work around your hours, if it is best for us to show up at 8:30 and leave by 5:00 then that is the hours we will have on your job because we do not want to disrupt your day more than we have to. We work with you the entire project to ensure every detail is how you like it from choosing products to where to place handles on cabinets. Service and communication is our top priority and we want to make sure your basement renovation exceeds your expectations.
At the top is a picture of a large-scale basement renovation including; a full bathroom, kitchen, office, game room, and workshop. This basement project started with a blank canvas. We first removed part of the basement concrete floor for installation of plumbing for the bathroom and kitchenette. The next steps were; framing, plumbing, electrical, duct work, insulation, drywall, paint, cabinets, trim, drop ceiling, and flooring. Here’s what the owners had to say.
“All Seasons Builders have done several major and small jobs for us that included a complete basement refinishing with billiard room, office, full kitchen, full bath, bar and workshop. The attention to detail has wowed every contractor friend who visited. The flooring, electrical, plumbing, ceilings and walls were done to perfection with every detail finished immaculately!”
“We recently had All Seasons add a handicap accessible entryway from our garage to our home, and not surprisingly even the side panel seams were trimmed out.”
“We have visited All Seasons Builders’ shop and I can honestly say it was the neatest, most well-equipped shop I could have imagined (and I was Director of Shops & Services for a major US company with 22 shops nationwide – and it takes a lot to impress me!).”
“I recommend All Seasons Builders every chance I get!”

Here is a finished basement in a new home that has a unique hand troweled concrete floor. This basement consists of; two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, full bathroom, and workshop.
“My husband and I were very pleased with not only the outcome of our beautiful new home but the process. There are a lot of decisions to be made and of course they can be costly but Mike was very patient throughout the entire planning and building process. He provided valuable expertise and had a very good relationship with the architect which allowed for a seamless understanding of what we were looking for. Mike was involved in every part of the construction, very hands on, did not just send someone out with vague instructions. He is a perfectionist in the best way. The individuals we hired to put kitchen/bathroom cabinets and countertops both commented on how square and accurate building was. The major holdups had to do with me (homeowner) making final flooring choices etc. Throughout the entire process Mike was very patient…. Subcontractors were good people with a lot of experience and clear instructions. There were a few adjustments to original layout along the way and Mike just went with the flow…. very patient and the results were great! We would whole heartedly recommend Mike for any project.”
Here is a finished basement that included a large family/game room, large closet for toys, full bathroom, and a spare bedroom. This basement has an open stairwell that makes it an extension of the first floor. Large custom made oak trim with oak columns add nice detail. The flooring throughout was kept simple, we stained the existing concrete floor a walnut color and added a clear sealer, this makes a low maintenance, easy to clean, rugged and ready for abuse surface. The wood stove heats this space along with most of the first floor. Built in surround sound makes this a good room for watching movies. The bathroom has a 4 foot shower, linen closet with plenty of shelving, and large vanity area, the toilet is tucked in beside the shower. The bedroom is an average size bedroom with large window for an escape in case of fire and 6 foot closet with French doors. This space can be used for entertaining, hanging out daily, or as separate quarters for guests.
