We enjoy working in Amherst, we have done many projects from small repair jobs to large homes here. Amherst is a growing city with an estimated population of 12,000 people. Amherst was settled in 1811 and has many preserved homes and business. In fact, the first wood framed house is still standing. Today, Amherst is growing, there are several housing subdivisions being built and new businesses coming in. Amherst has great schools, businesses, churches and parks.

The picture at the top is an addition built in Amherst, Ohio. The clients came to me with a set of drawings for a dream master suite and living room extension. Within the master suite there is a large bathroom with his and hers areas, joined centrally by a walk-in shower and large linin closet. The bedroom has patio doors leading to a new deck with a view of the woods. A large walk-in closet finishes up the master suite. As part of the same project an 8ft extension of the living room was added. This once dark and crammed living room is now open and full of light. It has a wall full of patio doors which lead out to a large deck. Also included with this addition project is a kitchen remodel, new flooring on entire first floor, new roof, new HVAC system and several other updates within the home.
“We contracted with Mike (All Season Builders) for an addition to our home. Mike is a patient, professional and conscientious builder. Mike was always ready to answer our questions and discuss our “ideas” for our addition. We increased the size of our great room, added a master suite, remodeled our kitchen, and added a deck and other miscellaneous work. As our project progressed, Mike was always ready to take on additional tasks that came up – adding a complete heat/cool system, new hot water tank, whole house generator and more. Mike has also done impressive work for my parents and sister/brother-in-law showing his consistency in completing high quality projects. We are very happy with our completed project… it is more beautiful than I even anticipated!”
Here is a new home built by All Seasons Builders, Inc. in Amherst. Clients bought house plans off the internet and we took it from there. This home has many nice features like; first floor master suite, two-story living room, large eat-in kitchen, balcony walk-way with banister on second floor, 2 story stone veneer fireplace, 3 bedrooms on second floor, playroom above garage, patio doors open up to a covered porch, and a full basement with high ceilings. This home surpasses energy code with the following energy upgrades; air sealing techniques, thick exterior walls with thick insulation, 1in foam over entire exterior of home, insulated foundation walls and floor, additional attic insulation, and geothermal heat.
“Excellent builder! Mike is a gem of a find. He built our new home in 2013 and then completed a bonus space in 2015. He is our go to for all things construction. Mind you my father built homes for a living too.”

Built in cooktop/oven combo unit, built in microwave/range hood, built in refrigerator and tall pantry cabinet with pull out shelves. Countertops and backsplash are natural granite. Other amenities are full extension drawers, soft close doors and drawers, under cabinet LED lighting, built in spice rack, rotating laze-susan corner cabinet, plenty of drawers, stone sink, pull-out sprayer faucet, and pull out garbage can/recycle bins. Here is a small project we did for a repeat customer at your Amherst neighbor in Avon Lake. We removed a set of steep builder grade garage stairs and installed wide stairs with railing and large platform for easy maneuverability and accessibility. We finished off this job with two coats of white paint and non-slip tape on the edge of the stair treads. Most of the work on these stairs was done prior to starting at the site, we manufactured and painted all the parts in our shop so actual job site time was a minimum.
“All Seasons Builders have done several major and small jobs for us that included a complete basement refinishing with billiard room, office, full kitchen, full bath, bar and workshop. The attention to detail has wowed every contractor friend who visited. The flooring, electrical, plumbing, ceilings and walls were done to perfection with every detail finished immaculately!
We recently had All Seasons add a handicap accessible entryway from our garage to our home, and not surprisingly even the side panel seams were trimmed out.
We have visited All Seasons Builders’ shop and I can honestly say it was the neatest, most well-equipped shop I could have imagined (and I was Director of Shops & Services for a major US company with 22 shops nationwide – and it takes a lot to impress me!).
I recommend All Seasons Builders every chance I get! ”
